Hub BBS started as a dial-up bulletin board service serving the Lubbock area way back in 1993. It as now grown into a telnet-only online community serving the world from the central Hill Country area of Texas after a brief stint in Denver, Colorado. This online service runs Worldgroup BBS Software by Galacticomm, Inc. Hub strives to provide a safe, family oriented atmosphere, where the everyone can relax, chat, and play games. Hub is in a slow rebuilding process right now, so please pardon the dust. We moved it from Texas to Colorado in June, 2001 and then back to Texas in May of 2003. The server is currently housed in Marble Falls, Texas. "Amelia" lives in a small, air-conditioned, locked room far away from curious little fingers and nosy cats. During the move from Denver, the main server for Hub sustained some damage and refused to stay online. A brand new server was built, ensuring several more years of reliable use. Life is sweet!
